Griffith Observatory will stream the partial solar eclipse October 23, 2014. During maximum eclipse, as seen from Los Angeles, at 3:27 p.m. PDT, the moon covers 45% of sun’s diameter, 34% of sun’s area.  Weather permitting, their broadcast is at:
